When I began my journey, I had nothing but determination and hope. Desperate for change, I dove into writing Scripture and seeking Jesus, but my unchecked intensity led to mistakes. I raged at God when prayers went unanswered, grew spiritually entitled, and stumbled through immaturity—like checking under my doormat for money after misinterpreting an audiobook, only to feel let down. These were growing pains I could have avoided with guidance.

Coaching bridges that gap. Without a coach, I overdid it, cramming so much Bible knowledge into my mind that it overwhelmed me. In Greek, gnosis is knowledge, but epignosis is knowledge applied to transform your life. I “overtrained” spiritually, like an ultra-marathon runner who pushes too hard and gets injured. A coach helps you balance effort and growth, identifying weaknesses and warning you of pitfalls. Our coaches, experienced in the Seven Pillars, understand the rapid changes you’ll face and guide you toward freedom and success. They’re not here to do the work for you—your faith and effort are key—but they’ll show you the path and help you avoid the potholes I fell into.

If you’re signing up a minor, the call includes both the child and parent at no extra cost. Imagine your child writing the New Testament each year through high school, building a foundation of faith that reduces teenage stress and sets them on a path to think like Jesus. Families are encouraged to join together, writing and growing as a unit to strengthen their spiritual bond.
